Frequently Asked Questions


1. Can I claim more than once on my warranty?
Yes. All Southern Cross warranties have an unlimited number of claims for listed covered components. Please refer to your Warranty Book for full details.

2. Can I transfer my warranty?
Yes. Warranties are transferrable to a new owner in the event you sell the vehicle, providing all terms and conditions stated in your specific Product are met. To transfer the warranty to a new owner, download a Transfer Ownership Form and forward to Southern Cross within 7 days of the vehicle being sold. A 240 CNY transfer fee is payable. Policies are not transferrable to another vehicle.

3. Can I get a replacement warranty book?
If you have misplaced your Warranty Book, please contact Southern Cross on 0510 85220236 or email us. A small fee of 60 CNY is payable for each replacement book.

4. How do I change my personal details?
If you change any of your personal details such as name, address or contact details please contact Southern Cross on 0510 85220236 or email us.

5. What happens if I miss or am late in carrying out a service?
If you miss or carry out a service late, your warranty may be in breach and you may be ineligible to make a claim at that time. This however does not necessarily make your warranty void – your warranty can re-commence once Southern Cross has been provided with evidence that the vehicle is in good working order and servicing has been carried out.
